Pimple Emergency
This service is NOT a facial but rather designed to be a quick spot treatment of extraction, high frequency and application of a professional product to expedite the clearing of a stubborn impaction. (In the case of multiple outbreaks, more time will be needed, so please schedule a facial.)
*Spring/Summer is the time to focus on hydration, renewing the skin and preventing hyperpigmentationfrom sun exposure.
*Fall/Winter is the only time of year recommended for deeper exfoliation to address damage done by exposure during the summer months, fine lines and wrinkles or acne scaring. In my opinion over-exfoliating is not beneficial to the skin so microdermabrasion & more aggressive peels should not be an on-going choice of treatment through-out the year.

This is a mechanical form of skin resurfacing which results in more youthful appearing skin; helps minimize fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, and acne scarring.

This is a chemical form of exfoliation to speed-up the skin’s natural renewal process. It smoothes skin texture, clears complexion, helps to keep acne under control, diminishes uneven skin tone and discoloration, softens lines and wrinkles and lightens hyperpigmentation. Superficial peels result in healthy glowing skin with little to no down time. To get the skin in good health a Signature Four Layer Lift will be done first and a pre-care skin care regime will be recommended to be followed at home 2 – 4 weeks prior to a more advanced peel procedure. This will enhance greater penetration and avoid “hot spots”. It is also mandatory that a post-care skincare regime be followed at home for at least one week after each treatment to reduce post peel complications, accelerate healing & reduce post inflammation hyperpigmentation.

Treat your skin very gently & avoid the sun. Wear a broad spectrum sun block (*Image Daily Hydrating Moisturizer spf 30 – 50), applying it 30 minutes before going outdoors! If you workout, postpone it until the following day. Avoid heat, chlorine & steam. Use only hydrating gentle skin care for at least the first 24 hours. If your skin is not irritated or peeling excessively, you may resume your normal skin care routine the following night OR Use Image Post-Treatment kit 1 -3 weeks as instructed. Avoid glycolic, lactic, retinols for 1 -3 weeks. Products applied to your skin may feel stingy upon application at first but this will subside. Depending on the strength of the peel you received you can expect: flaking, dryness, redness, tenderness, “scabbing" & sensitivity. “Hot Spots” may occur where some areas are very red, tender &/or inflamed. (A typical area for this can be around the nostrils). This is all normal, temporary & not a cause for alarm. (Pimples may “fill up”.) Do not try to pick or scrub off dead skin cells which increase irritation & flaking! Schedule your next appointment for 10-14 days after your last treatment, until your series is complete.
